Trailblazer Summit Awards
Outstanding members of the community will be recognized for their dedication and contributions to tourism in Gilmer County with the Rising Star Award, Spirit of the Community Award, Frontline Service Award, and the Creative Expression Award.
Award nominations will close on Friday, March 14, 2025.
Rising Star Award
This award will be given to an individual under the age of 40 years old who has made meaningful progress in a hospitality or tourism career and shows promise and leadership potential. This individual must be a driven, innovative individual who displays internal motivation and a commitment to our community.
Spirit of the Community Award
This award will be presented to a business, organization, or individual who has displayed a consistent, long-term commitment to the community through both their business and volunteer and/or philanthropic efforts. The recipient displays an enduring commitment to serving our community that is equal to their commitment to excellence in the tourism and hospitality space.
Frontline Service Award
This award honors a frontline employee who continuously goes above and beyond for their customers. They are a friendly face for our community and consistently leave customers feeling like they are welcome. This person is an asset to their organization and the tourism industry and understands the value of hospitality.
Creative Expression Award
This award honors the creative innovation of local businesses. This award recognizes an original campaign, social media strategy, advertisement, or marketing initiative from a tourism industry business.
