4/6 Live Music at Roo Mountain Vineyards

Live music returns to the rooftop every Saturday from 2-5; Denise Moore and Michael Ewbank kick off the season. We are now serving gourmet paninis, soups, and salads from our kitchen. Roo is dog-friendly and is a 21+ facility.

4/12-14 North GA RV Show

Are you ready for the 3rd Annual North Georgia Mountain RV Show? It is about that time of year again, and we are super excited! This amazing outdoor event is held at Talona Ridge RV Resort and is FREE to the public!

4/13 Woofstock

Sponsored by Friends of Gilmer Animal Shelter (FOGAS) and Viking Outdoor, this event features a pet-friendly environment that includes pet vendors, a pet parade, the 70s-themed pet costume contest, and a dock diving competition by Ultimate Air Dogs. Local shelters and rescues will have pets available for adoption.

4/13 Bend & Sip at Buckley

All-level class, designed to get us out of the studio to enjoy time with friends and family. Let’s Listen to music, and have a bit to eat after some serious Bending and Sipping!$20 buys you a glass of wine and class.

4/19 Acoustic Blends at the Playhouse

Acoustic Blends is one of the oldest running open mic formats in Ellijay. Join us for an evening of music by local, regional, and visiting musicians. It’s always a surprise to see who is entertaining each month on the third Friday @ The Playhouse @ 6:30pm

4/20 Georgia Mountain Trail Fest

This is the festival where the Georgia trails community comes together — hikers, mountain bikers, kayakers, trail runners, equestrians, campers, jeep and RV enthusiasts — everyone is welcome! We will have multiple trail related vendors, educational trail talks, food trucks, and hard cider from Reece’s Cider Co.

4/20 Ace the Race at Carters Lake

Join us for a nature filled run along one of North Georgia’s most scenic routes and around Beautiful Carters Lake. 10:00 start at North Bank park. Start and finish at the dam. Race bibs and Race Tee shirt for participants registered before cutoff. All proceeds help fund the National Public Lands Day Clean-up.

4/20 2nd Annual Ellijay Earth Day Fair

Vendors will showcase how to repurpose natural materials into artistic crafts. Entertainment will be provided by Viking Outdoor, Smokehouse Country Grill will be serving food for purchase. There will be a bounce house and a interactive kids corner. the Master Gardeners will be having a plant sale to help get your Spring planting started.

4/26-28 GA Mtn Needle Arts Festival

It’s our annual fiber festival in Ellijay, Georgia! Join us for vendors, classes, and crafting inspiration!! $5 per person entry fee for the weekend!

4/27 Sasquatch Strut

Come out to the 3rd Annual Sasquatch Strut 5K and Fun Run presented by Friends Of Harrison Park, Inc. in Ellijay Georgia. Race day registration and packet pickup begins at 7:30 AM, 5K starts at 8:30AM, Fun Run starts at the completion of the 5K. Course: The race will start and finish at Harrison Park.
