Downtown Ellijay will come alive with twinkling lights, joyful music, festive shops, and plenty of small-town charm in every corner. Plan your next mountain getaway and discover why North Georgia is the perfect place to slow down and create special memories.

Merry Mountain Town Festival & Parade

Broad Street will transform into a festive wonderland, lined with cheerful arts & crafts vendors, face painting, and delicious seasonal treats. Visit between 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM for a special meet-and-greet and photo with Santa, available for your family and pets with a $10 donation (benefiting the Friends of Gilmer Animal Shelter).

At 6:00 PM, gather along the streets of Downtown Ellijay for the Merry Mountain Town Parade featuring cheerful floats, plenty of holiday spirit, and the official lighting of the town Christmas tree. Register for the parade here >
