Since opening Ellijay’s first hard cidery and tasting room in 2021, Reece’s has been crafting crisp, small-batch ciders using apples grown right on their family orchards. This tradition has been rooted in the Cartecay foothills since the 1960s. Each cider is cold-fermented to lock in that fresh-picked flavor and canned to share an authentic taste of Ellijay.
With 16 rotating taps, from their signature Ellijay Apple to bold flavors like Granny Smith and Apple Pie, it’s no wonder they’re winning hearts (and taste buds) across North Georgia. Their small-batch ciders, slow-fermented to preserve that fresh-picked apple flavor, can be found at their cozy Cartecay foothills tasting room and at Ellijay restaurants, wineries, and local businesses throughout North Georgia and metro Atlanta.
