2025 Ellijay Bacon Fest: North Georgia’s Tastiest Fall Festival
If you love crispy, smoky, melt-in-your-mouth bacon, mark your calendar for the Fourth Annual Ellijay Bacon Fest, happening in the heart of North Georgia’s apple country. This family-friendly fall festival is the perfect way to celebrate all things bacon with mouthwatering dishes, live music, fun contests, all while supporting a great cause.
What’s On The Menu
Local food vendors and artists will be on hand to showcase their unique products and services. Food vendors are required to feature at least one bacon- or pork-inspired menu item, so expect plenty of mouthwatering options. Brave participants can take part in the Spicy Bacon Eating Contest, where contestants have five minutes to devour two pounds of spicy bacon. Families can enjoy games like cornhole, face painting, and more. Plus, festival merchandise will be available for purchase to take a piece of the fun home with you.
Bacon For A Cause
The Ellijay Bacon Fest isn’t just about great food, this festival was created to bring food lovers together in a fun, flavorful way while supporting the community. The festival shares its proceeds with the Gilmer Community Food Pantry, helping provide meals and resources to families in need throughout the year. In lieu of an admission fee, attendees are encouraged to bring canned goods or monetary donations for the Gilmer Community Food Pantry.
