Rising Star Award Nomination

This award will be given to an individual under the age of 40 years old who has made meaningful progress in a hospitality or tourism career and shows promise and leadership potential. This individual must be a driven, innovative individual who displays internal motivation and a commitment to our community.

Award Criteria

Nominees must currently own or be employed by a Gilmer County tourism or hospitality business. They must have worked in the hospitality or tourism industry for a minimum of one year and be under the age of 40 as of April 4, 2025.

Award nominations will close on Friday, March 14, 2025.

The Gilmer Chamber reserves the right to review and verify all nominations to ensure compliance with the eligibility requirements. Any nominations that do not meet these requirements may be disqualified at the discretion of the selection committee.
