Rising Star Award Nomination

This award will be given to an individual under the age of 40 years old who has made meaningful progress in a hospitality or tourism career and shows promise and leadership potential. This individual must be a driven, innovative individual who displays internal motivation and a commitment to our community.

Award Criteria

Nominees must currently own or be employed by a Gilmer County tourism or hospitality business. They must have worked in the hospitality or tourism industry for a minimum of one year and be under the age of 40 as of March 13, 2026.

Award nominations are now closed. Winners will be announced on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026.
