The Georgia Apple Blossom Festival is “all about the local,” according to Lisa Salman, event organizer and Tourism Manager for the Gilmer Chamber. This 2020 event, will take place Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3, on Craig Street, which runs parallel to Highway 515 and is in front of the Gilmer Chamber & Welcome Center located at 696 First Ave, East Ellijay.
On March 15, 2019, the Gilmer Chamber along with community leaders, members and citizens had the pleasure of cutting the ribbon to celebrate the grand opening of the Downtown Welcome Center located at 10 Broad Street in Downtown Ellijay.

The Winegrowers Association of Georgia is sponsoring its annual Wine Highway Week beginning Saturday March 22 through Sunday March 31, 2019. This is a great way to see and experience the views and wonderful wines of Northeast Georgia. Our wineries offer great wines that are grown and produced here in Georgia, many of which have won local, regional, national and international awards.
