Tabor House History Museum – Special Event

The Tabor House History Museum is having a Spring Open House on Saturday, June 7th from 11 AM to 3 PM. The volunteers giving tours will be dressed in period clothes. There will be Civil War reenactors, musicians, and refreshments. Come experience the history and heritage of Ellijay and the North Georgia Mountains including the Cherokee, Early Settlers, Victorian Era Life, Civil War, and the United States Military. The first floor is handicap accessible. The second floor is not handicap accessible, but there is a slideshow in the gift shop to view the exhibits on the second floor for those who can’t go upstairs.
