Promoting literacy and the arts by reading and creating artwork inspired by children’s stories. Featuring book reading by local author: NAN FLICKENGER.
When: July 29th – 31st – Three days of Reading and Art for kids K-5 9:30am to Noon.
Who: Kids who are K-5 grade
Get ready for school (kids get used to books again and mom can go shop for school supplies) Pre registration required. Pattie Clark is our instructor.
Books included are:
Something From Nothing by Phoebe Gilman
Circle Square Moose by Kelly Bingham and Paul Zelinsky
Ellie J’s Apples by local author Nan Flickinger.
Nan will be joining us to read her books to the kids.
It will be a fun excursion through literature and how it connects to art.
