Georgia Mountain Trail Fest

This is the festival where the Georgia trails community comes together — hikers, mountain bikers, kayakers, trail runners, equestrians, campers, jeep and RV enthusiasts — everyone is welcome! We will have multiple vendors, educational trail talks, food trucks, local hard cider, craft beer, and more.

We are partnering with Friends of Harrison Park and Keep Gilmer Beautiful to host the 2nd annual Sasquatch Strut 5K and Fun Run that begins at 8:00am. We will have the Ribbon Cutting of Gilmer County, Ellijay & East Ellijay all becoming the newest Benton Mackaye Trail Town at 11:30am and special guest Award Winning Author and Naturalist Mark Warren will be giving Nature Walks and a Trail Talk.
