Color Theory 1 The Basics

The fundamentals of color are important for any artist. This class is to understand how to use color theory with acrylic paint. We will learn about value, saturation and how to use the color wheel understanding the relationships and how color affects each other.

We will create swatches with different colors, explore warm and cool colors as well. We apply all this theory into practice with a simple series of five still-lives.

This is on Monday for four sessions. Feb. 12, 19, 26, & Mar 4 10am-Noon
