“BEARHOTI LITE” GROUP TRAIL RUN with MULBERRY GAP and COYOTE UGLY RACING

JOIN MARIAH FROM COYOTE UGLY RACING FOR A BEAUTIFUL MULBERRY GAP GROUP RUN ON SATURDAY JUNE 29TH
ABOUT THIS RUN:
Today’s ~13 mile trail run starts with an optional shuttle from Mulberry Gap up to the trailhead for the Bear Creek Spur Trail. The first six miles are almost all downhill on the singletrack of the Bear Creek Spur, then the Bear Creek Inner Loop, and then on to a gravel connector, losing about 1,300 feet in elevation as you go. Then you’ll spend roughly a 1/3 of a mile on pavement before heading back into the forest on the gravel once more. You’ll transition back onto the singletrack of Pinhoti section 2 from around mile 8 through mile 11.4. Then you’ll return on the gravel of Mulberry Gap road back to the start at Mulberry Gap, ending at mile 13.
*DON’T WANT TO TAKE THE SHUTTLE? WANNA RUN THE 4 MILES TO THE TOP WITH MARIAH? NO PROBS, JUST UNSELECT THE SHUTTLE AND YOU CAN TAKE OFF WITH HER AT 9:30AM ON FOOT*
And THEN it will be time to kick back with your running buddies on our deck, grab a cold beer or soda, eat some lunch, and enjoy some relaxation on a beautiful autumn day in the Mountains. 🙂

Shuttle – the only cost for this event is the shuttle to the top of Bear Creek (unless you decide to add any meals on.)
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED RUNNERS This run is geared for folks who are intermediate and advanced runners. Check out the distances and elevation profile on the linked map above to make sure this is the the right run for you.
9:00am Running to the top instead of taking the shuttle? Meet at 9:00am and we’ll start running at 9:30am for the 4 mile climb up the gravel road. 🙂
9:30am Check in at Office, Meet at the office to get ready for the shuttle once checked in
10:00am Shuttle Departs to start of Run
