Inside, the aroma of fresh cider, fried pies, and baked goods fills the air, inviting you to take a taste of the orchard home. Whether you stop in during apple season or any time of year, Panorama Orchards offers a true taste of North Georgia in every visit.

From Orchard to Table Since 1927

Panorama Orchards has deep roots in Gilmer County, tracing back to the late 1920s when the Stembridge family began growing and shipping apples from the rural community of Ella Gap. Originally known as Blue Ridge Mountain Orchards under Joel Stembridge’s ownership, the orchard took on its current name, Panorama Orchards, in 1965 when Joel partnered with his son, Gene.

What started as a primarily wholesale operation has grown into a thriving retail destination. Apples are still at the heart of Panorama Orchards, and their current facility, built in 1983, is home to an apple packing line, cold storage for 10,000 bushels, bakery kitchens, and a welcoming retail market.

More Than Apples

Panorama Orchards offers fresh cider made from a blend of sweet and tart apples with no additives or preservatives, keeping the flavor as close to the orchard as possible. Each batch is unique, reflecting the variety mix of the season. You’ll also discover baked goods like applesauce bread, apple brandy cake, and classic baked apple pie, all made in-house with fruit grown right on the farm.

Craving something sweeter? Panorama offers 12 delicious flavors of homemade ice cream and homemade fudge, both crafted on-site. Beyond these treats, the farm market features a variety of fresh, seasonal produce, including tomatoes, zucchini, yellow squash, strawberries, and more.
