By agreeing to the competition terms and conditions, I agree to the following:

I agree to a yard sign or poster being placed on my property displaying my entry number and agree to keep the sign up for the duration of the event (June 28th through July 4th.)

If I am not the owner of the participating property, I have written permission from the property owner to participate in the Independence Week decorating competition at this location and to execute these terms, release and conditions.

I understand that, due to the nature of this event, photos of my location may be taken by visitors, locals and by the Gilmer Chamber [it’s vendors, agents and employees collectively “Gilmer Chamber”] for the future marketing of Independence Day celebrations or similar event. I give the Gilmer Chamber and Pick Ellijay (a division of the Gilmer Chamber) permission to use event photos of my location for the future marketing of this event and agree that the Gilmer Chamber will own all right, title and interest to any footage or photographs taken by the Gilmer Chamber of my location.

By accepting the competition terms and conditions, I agree to indemnify and hold the Gilmer Chamber and Pick Ellijay harmless for any and all damages, issues or claims, including those arising from any allegation that the Gilmer Chamber was negligent, that relate to or arise from my participation in the Independence Day decorating competition. I also agree to abide by all applicable laws and safety regulations and the Gilmer Chamber does not provide governmental approval for any display.
