While we are well known throughout north Georgia for our apple orchards, there are many wineries in the area. Ellijay is also known as the Mountain Bike Capital of Georgia, but mountain biking is just one of the many outdoor activities that you can enjoy. Our beautiful rivers, national forrest areas, state parks, and Carters Lake provide many recreational activities for you and your family to enjoy. 

You will be pleasantly surprised when you make a visit to Downtown Ellijay. Tasting rooms, restaurants, antique stores, the playhouse are only a few places in Downtown Ellijay to explore. 

A visit to Ellijay would not be complete with out visit our Expedition: Bigfoot Museum or nearby Gibbs Gardens.
