We got a sneak peak at the Good Samaritan Catholic Church's Flea Market that is happening this Friday, September 14 from 8:30-4:00pm and Saturday, September 15 from 8:30-12pm at the Lions Club Fairgrounds. Debbie Slaughter, in charge of organizing the flea market, showed us around the event as volunteers were working hard to get everything set up. They have a lot of clothing for all ages and sizes!

The Georgia Apple Blossom Festival is “all about the local,” according to Lisa Salman, event organizer and Tourism Manager for the Gilmer Chamber. This 2020 event that had to be postponed in May is now rescheduled for September 5 - 6 on Craig Street, which runs parallel to Highway 515 and is in front of the Gilmer Chamber & Welcome Center located at 696 First Ave, East Ellijay.
