16th Annual Good Samaritan Catholic Church Flea Market

 We got a sneak peak at the Good Samaritan Catholic Church's Flea Market that is happening this Friday, September 14 from 8:30-4:00pm and Saturday, September 15 from 8:30-12pm at the Lions Club Fairgrounds. Debbie Slaughter, in charge of organizing the flea market, showed us around the event as volunteers were working hard to get everything set up. They have a lot of clothing for all ages and sizes!

Trout Fishing in Ellijay - Just Waiting on Spring

Usually during March, we see signs of springtime. Upper mountain flowers will start to bloom like the Lady’s slippers which is a member of the orchid family, etc. Streams and rivers will continue to rise with the occasional rains being received. And finally, warmer days to come will surely start bringing some trout up to the surface for a quick snack which makes for great trout fishing.  We’re looking for an outstanding spring this year and a bunch of hook ups!
