Dan Parker- Remax Town & Country tackles one of the most challenging industries that someone could choose to call a career, Real Estate.  To take on the world of social media in this competitive industry is an entire new level of challenge. Social media has changed the way realtors do business. Sometimes all it can take is posting a listing on Facebook, and in less than 24 hours, you may have a contract. People say that laughter is the best medicine, and this member uses humor to keep people engaged with his Facebook page, while also promoting available properties in the North Georgia area. He uses social media to the full extent possible to compete in the real estate industry, and that is why Mr. Dan is our August social star. The luncheon was catered by Mr. P’s Takeout/Main Street Catering. We enjoyed a delicious lunch of chicken, green beans, mashed potatoes, cole slaw and two desserts apple cake and chocolate eclair cake. Mr. P’s Takeout/Main Street Catering is located at 295 North Main Street, Ellijay. Be sure to like them on Facebook. Our next luncheon will be held September 8, 2016 at the ETC Pavilion. Our sponsor will be Chattahoochee Technical College, and our speaker will be Charlie Paris, Chairman, Gilmer County Board of Commissioners. He will be presenting his annual State of the County address to chamber members.  Click here for more information and to register to attend the event.
