Following the sponsor remarks, our guest speaker, Charlie Paris, Chairman of the Gilmer County Board of Commissioners gave our members an update on Gilmer County.
Following our speaker, our September Social Star, Stay Active Ellijay, was announced. Stay Active Ellijay has been a great example of the way a new business should utilize social media. They created a page, made sure to post their grand opening and ribbon cutting as events. Invited friends, customers, and the Gilmer Chamber to like their page. They are continuing to use social media to promote their business and their events. Click Here to check out their page.
The luncheon was catered by Mr. P’s Takeout/Main Street Catering. We enjoyed a delicious Italian inspired lunch of Caesar salad, lasagna, vegetables, garlic bread and tiramisu.
