Each year the Gilmer Chamber collects door prizes to be given out to our educators. This year the chamber is asking volunteers to help us during school open houses. Volunteer duties will vary by school but could include greeting parents and students, handing out maps of the schools, helping parents and students to locate classrooms by escorting them, possibly working with a staff member to look up bus routes, cut out laminating, handing out forms, etc. There are many opportunities for you or your business to help support our educators and school system.
