The 2017 Gilmer Chamber Annual Meeting was held at the First Baptist Church on January 19.
Member of the Year
The 2014 Member of the Year, Barbara Simmons had the privilege of announcing this year’s recipient, Karleen Ferguson.
Business of the Year
Paul Nealey of Ronnie Thompson Ford, recipients of the 2015 Business of the Year award, announced this year’s winner Candra Warren State Farm, represented above by Candra Warren.
Citizen of the Year
Following the Member of the Year and Business of the Year awards, Sam Burrell 2015 Citizen of the Year announced this year’s Citizen of the Year, Mr. Ralph Cox. For more information on the Citizen of the Year program, please visit our Citizen of the Year page.

The board of directors then took their oath of office before Alan passed the gavel to 2017 Chair Lex Rainey who spoke about the upcoming year before adjourning the meeting.
