The multi-day event will begin with an intimate and elegant dinner at the Engelheim Vineyards, called Dinner in the Vines, and will include a chef prepared four-course meal and wine as the winery owner guides guests through their wine pairing experience. The second day will feature a VIP event for patrons and sponsors in an open-air barn with a celebrity chef, culinary delights, local North Georgia wines and special music before the main event, The Grand Tasting. This event will feature samples of a variety of wines and foods from area restaurants as well as live musical performances. Sunday will conclude the weekend by featuring a Bluegrass Brunch to be held at Fainting Goat Vineyards and Winery.
Ticket prices range from $50 to $125, depending on the events purchased. A package deal of all events is available for $300 per person. Visit deepsouthfest.org to purchase tickets online.
The people behind the event have been long-time advocates for The Alzheimer’s Association as they have personally dealt with this devastating disease, and wanted to create an event to both raise awareness and funds for the Georgia chapter.
The Alzheimer’s Association is the world’s leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer’s research, care and support. Its mission is to eliminate Alzheimer’s disease through the advancement of research, to provide and enhance care and support for all affected and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
