Thursday, May 25, 2017, downtown Ellijay will be alive with the sights, sounds and smells of the 12th annual Taste of Ellijay celebration.
The unofficial kick off of summer brings two dozen local food purveyors and local vineyards to North Main Street in Downtown Ellijay from 6p to 8p for Taste of Ellijay. This year’s event adds roving musicians from Gilmer Arts’ Acoustic Blends series as well as a tailgate seating area courtesy of Ronnie Thompson Ford. Admission is free with tickets sponsored by HR Block available for purchase for food samples. Each vendor will have small samples available ranging in cost from $1 to $3 per sample.
